a.g.f. was lighter and friendlier, and all I ever needed in a discussion group. Hair, makeup, clothes, shopping, crafts, sewing, interior décor, general aesthetic inspirations like films and art. Oh, and there was food talk. Most of us didn't really subsist on blood and the spirit of the night.
One year we put out an a.g.f cookbook. This was a Real Thing: bound, illustrated, and 90 pages long, with recipes and artwork from a few dozen a.g.fers. I came across my copy today, and it made me smile.

Two of my recipes reveal my continuing unfulfilled passion for India:

There were a few color photographs by recipe testers. Here, CattyCait has presented Absinthe, Blueberry Coffee Cake, and her own Aunt Egregia's Lemon Cakes with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting. That's a tea party I'd like to attend:

I love Basinke's brownie recipe, which captures the tongue-in-cheek darkness I loved in a.g.f.:

I feel like the title page every day. Kiss me. I'm still a cookingoth:

I'm delighted to find Megan Sawyer's presence again! She's done artwork for Skyrim, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 among other things.
Have you participated in any quirky cookery books?

Haha! How to serve Goth! I love it! Blueberry coffee cake sounds good - you know when I did more all black posts my blog used to get hits from some goth social media site. They've sadly disappeared since I've started wearing more colour!!
Hi!! Aww, yay, so glad you found my site! :D I still have my a.g.f mug - I should post pics of that! :D
@Veshoevius - You do know how to rock black, but I'm glad you're enjoying more color, with your warm skin and flamenco passion!
@Megan - My a.g.f mug broke loooong ago, but I still have my tee shirt, with the elegant lady on the front. We Look Good, So You Don't Have To. ;-)
